What this site is, and is not

katlaicecavetour.org is an independent guide for Iceland travelers comparing ice cave tours and South Coast activities. We are not a tour operator, a travel agency or a seller of travel. We are not the official website of any tour operator or booking platform. When you read about a super jeep trip to Katla, a glacier hike on Vatnajökull or Langjökull, or a South Coast sightseeing day from Reykjavík or Vík, you are reading our research and opinions, not a tour company's offer.

How accurate our information is

We work hard to keep the details on this site correct, and we check them regularly. Still, tours change. Prices, departure times, meeting points, gear requirements and what is included can all shift between our checks. Our 25 tour listings were last checked on 3 October 2026, so anything may have changed since then. The tour page on GetYourGuide, at the moment of checkout, is always the final word on what you are buying.

Booking a tour

We do not sell tours ourselves. When you decide to book, you leave our site and complete the booking on GetYourGuide, under that platform's own terms and conditions. That contract is between you and them. We are not a party to it, which means we cannot change a booking, cancel it, process a refund or intervene in a dispute. If a Katla ice cave trip is cancelled for weather, or you need to change your date, contact the platform or the operator directly through your booking confirmation.
